# We won't be able to complete all 20 weeks of the NELI before the end of the summer term. What do we do?
If your school is unable to complete the NELI programme before the end of the summer holidays it is suggested that you could extend delivery with these children as they move up into their next year group.
Detailed guidance on the extended delivery plan for NELI has been posted in Step 1.9 of the FutureLearn NELI Support Hub - "What to do about falling behind the NELI timetable and missed sessions".
There is no need to re-assess with LanguageScreen before the summer holiday. We recommend using LanguageScreen no more often than 6 months if possible. If your school is opting for the extended delivery model, then you would re-assess using the LanguageScreen app at the end of Part 2 of NELI.
Before the summer holidays, you could complete the Assessment of Narrative Speech and Grammar (page 106 of Handbook 1) using the same story sequence you used before the intervention started. There is also a column on the Attitude and Behaviour Record Sheet (page 108 of Handbook 1) that you may want to complete too.
